Description
A working pen. The barrel is solid milled brass with a soft satin finish that develops fingerprint patina across the first week of carry. The grip section is a wrap of soft black saddle leather, stitched along the seam, that holds the hand correctly through long writing sessions without slipping. The cap clicks onto the barrel end when posted — a magnetic detent in both positions so it never rattles loose.
Our wordmark is laser-etched around the cap in a band — fine enough that it reads as a hardware detail at distance, sharp enough that you can feel the lettering with a thumbnail. The refill is a standard Schmidt P900 rollerball in 0.7mm black — the same refill used by Lamy, Faber-Castell, and most premium European brands, available anywhere stationery is sold.
Specs: 5.5″ capped, 5.75″ posted. Solid milled brass barrel, black saddle leather grip, magnetic cap detent. Ships with one Schmidt P900 0.7mm black refill installed; refills sold separately in packs of three ($12).
Care: The brass will patina; this is desirable and intentional. To restore bright finish, use a soft cloth with a small amount of Brasso. The leather grip can be conditioned with Saphir Renovateur once or twice a year if it dries out.
