Description
The eye mask itself is a double layer of 22-momme mulberry silk with a millimeter of charcoal-cotton fill — heavier than a typical hotel mask, just enough that the weight settles the eye muscles. The strap is a soft elastic backed with the same silk so it never tangles in hair or pulls at the temples. Gold-thread embroidered maker’s mark on the front, just below the bridge of the nose where it disappears against your face.
It comes in a small waxed-canvas pouch with a brass YKK zipper — the pouch is sized to take the mask plus a pair of foam earplugs, a melatonin tablet, or a folded pair of compression socks. We make it in the same olive-drab canvas as the Dopp Kit, so they look right together in the bag.

Care: Hand-wash the mask in cool water with a drop of mild detergent; air-dry flat. The pouch wipes clean. We recommend a fresh mask every 12-18 months of regular travel use — silk holds up beautifully but eventually the fill compresses.
