Description
Heavy brass — 14 gauge, considerably more substantial than the stamped plate tags most luggage shops sell. Each tag attaches with a 4″ solid brass split-ring through a saddle-leather loop, so the tag swings independently of the bag and won’t tear an D-ring or strap-tab.
The marked tag carries our circular maker’s seal — “MILES HIGH SUPPLIES · HERITAGE TRAVEL GOODS · EST. 1947” — deeply etched and gold-fill polished. The plain tag is sized for stamping with your initials or a short ID code; we recommend a hardware-store steel stamp set for a clean DIY finish, or any reputable jeweler can engrave it.
On the reverse of each tag, a small ID window holds a folded card with your name and contact info. The window covers are clear acetate, replaceable as needed.
Specs: 2.5″ × 1.5″ per tag, 14-gauge solid brass. Saddle-leather loops, 4″ brass split-rings. Set of two. Made in California.
Care: Wipe with a dry cloth. Brass will patina — to maintain a polished finish, use Wright’s Brass Polish once or twice a year. To accelerate aging for a darker antique look, leave them outdoors for 48 hours and the salt air will do the work.
