Description
Made for travelers who keep notes the old way. The journal interior is 240 pages of 68gsm Tomoe River paper — the same paper used by serious fountain-pen users for its ink-handling and bleed-through resistance. The cover is a soft-temper saddle leather that wraps the block and ties closed with a single waxed-cotton cord.
Sized for a jacket interior pocket or the front sleeve of a weekender. Numbered pages, a ribbon marker, an index template on the first two spreads, and a final pocket for ticket stubs, business cards, or pressed botanicals from someone else’s country.
Specs: 5.5″ × 8.5″, 240 pages, 68gsm Tomoe River cream paper, dot grid (5mm), saddle leather wrap cover, waxed-cotton tie closure, single satin ribbon marker. Maker’s stamp gold-foiled on the front cover. Made in California; paper sourced from Japan.
Care: The cover is intentionally soft and will mark with use. If you prefer a tighter finish, a single light coat of leather conditioner before first use will firm the cover. The paper handles fountain pen, rollerball, and ballpoint without bleed; pencil works beautifully.
