Description
Carved from a single side of Horween cordovan and hand-stitched with waxed Tiger thread, the Bifold is built around the way you actually use a wallet. Six card pockets, two slips for receipts or business cards, and a long bill compartment that holds folded U.S. or international currency without bulk. The brass money clip on the spine pulls bills out fast for tipping or counter transactions where a full open isn’t practical.
The leather develops a deeper patina with use — within six months you’ll see the corners burnish and the surface take on the slow gloss that only comes from your own hands. The maker’s stamp on the front cover is debossed and gold-foiled by hand on a 1953 Kingsley press.
Specs: Cordovan saddle leather, 4.25″ × 3.5″ closed, solid milled brass money clip, hand-stitched edges with waxed Tiger thread, raw burnished edge finish. Made in California. Includes our maker’s tag and a small cotton drawstring storage pouch.
Care: Wipe with a dry cloth. Avoid prolonged direct sun. Treat with Saphir Cordovan Cream every six to nine months if the surface looks dry. Never use mink oil or saddle soap — they’ll soften the leather past the point where it holds its shape.
